paj man..... brilliant progress in your case. the wiring must be a short circuit. check the cable clip connecting the tachometer. in my case some issues with tiptronic gear marriage/coupling. am working on the normal pajero automatic for now.

paj man....congrats you are almost there.... with me... the gear box (tiptronic) is an aisin..... now to undergo the marriage with the engine..... do we keep the pajero torque convertor or use a lexus one?

the gear box is numbered V5A51. how do i check if it is an aisin?

update on swap Hiya guys.....what happened of the swap? i own a 1997 pajero with tiptronic gearbox and a 6g74 GDI engine. wish to replace it with a 1uzfe. any guidance particularly on transmission and electricals.
