    Relieved Thanks redrocco. I'm relieved. You guys are way ahead already. I'm happy when I manage to get stock the 1UZFE with auto box implanted and running smooth. Considering what I have now (2.8 TD, 85kw/235Nm) it should make for a hell of a difference and I don't plan on tuning it...

    Hi there, I'm new to this forum and only in the planning phase of implanting a 1UZFE in my Nissan Patrol. I am wondering now why is it that so many of you guys put in a aftermarket ECU? What's wrong with the original one?
