    how long for ecu to learn?

    The first day I installed a new ECU it idled very low (3-400 RPM). Drove it for about 3 miles and then garaged it. The next day it drove a little better, drove it about 5 miles. By the third day it was purrring like a kitten.

    I should have added that here in the US of A the IACV runs $695 (at least at my local stealership). I have no idea about availability of used parts in the UK ... but try to find either part (the -10 is prefered as it is rebuildable) used.

    No. The -20 is not rebuildable. The -10 shown in the article is.

    Look at the model #s of the IACV. The -20 is a direct swapout with the -10 (the IACV with the removeable stepper motor) ... but it is not rebuildable.
