Jb, what do you think about a y pipe before the cats, 3" mid-pipe, and another y pipe before the mufflers. That's very close to stock.

Depending on which year 1uz you have. Earlier yrs. 92-94 have thicker rods which can handle a lot of juice. If you go with the vvt-i 98+ you'll have a good hp base of 290hp to start off with, but you wouldn't want to run too much boost. It also depends on your power goals.

I was hoping to be able to run a safe 50 shot more often than a 75. For a v8 a 50shot should be pretty harmless.

Custom exhaust, bfi mod, headers, zex 50hp shot, safc, and fined tuned by a dyno shop. Is 400hp crank possible?

Do they actually have an adapter to mate the w58 bellhousing onto the 1uz engine, instead of having to remove the 1uz bell housing.

I'm in line to do a 5spd w58 swap on.. my sc400 98 vvti. I'm doing research right now and also have a complete 5spd w58 swap off of a 95 sc300. What I'm trying to find out is whether the adapter plate for the a340 bellhousing will also work on my a650e bellhousing, in order to mount the w58...

I'll take some the next time I remove the wheels. They look sick the way the red springs matches my red ls400 calipers.

Does it really make that much of difference to delete the EGR? Wouldn't you NOT be able to pass smog that way?

IMF headers came in already, and it just took a few days, Lol.. I was expecting them in maybe mid December. They look very nice. The welding is not as thick as I thought they would be, but I think they're suppose to be that way, right? Also, they came with all the gaskets and even bolts...

I lowered both the front and the back with 1 finger gap, and it's good! Feels a bit stiffer but handles pretty well. Now would I recommend this setup? Defiitely yes and especially for daily street driving. Track may be a bit too soft. good luck.
