I read something about taking an angle grinder to each tooth... Really though, I wonder if the id of the ring gear for the 3sgte is the same as on the 1uz flexplate?

I had been thinking about this... You could even flip the gear so that it meshed with the starter correctly aswell. Please let me know if this works out for you!

See... I was thinking about that, but again I want to buy a flywheel that is made specifically for the 1uz, I do not want to machine a stock flywheel. I have seen some scary pictures when flywheels come apart...
