Standalone ECU AEM V1 Cal File - Anyone Have One?

MREL powers the ECU and engine sensors (Black-Red), the ignition system and fuel injectors get power from the ignition s/w (Black-Orange). This is the same as the factory wiring in both the SC400 and Supra. I get 12v on both the B-R and B-O when the key goes in the "On" position.

Standalone ECU AEM V1 Cal File - Anyone Have One?

Yea, I have power at all the correct points. The OEM ECU runs the engine fine, the harness, ignition system, distributors are all stock and unmodified. I'm trying to get the engine to run on all the stock electronics other than widebands, map sensor, and AIT sensors.

Standalone ECU AEM V1 Cal File - Anyone Have One?

Hi all, Does anyone have the cal file that MitchP put together for the AEM V1? I can't get a hold of Mitch by any means, and I'm ready to get my engine running with the AEM and I have nothing to start with. The local tuner has not done anything with the 1UZ before so I want to have as much...

    1995/6 Era SC400 1UZ-FE - MAF Sensor

Yup, I know I have the earlier MAF, I know the two sensors have a different signal but I'm wondering if the newer ECU could receive a signal from the older MAF and still function with no CEL on. I'm leaning more towards I have a faulty MAF or the pins on the plug are not getting adequate...

    1995/6 Era SC400 1UZ-FE - MAF Sensor

I'm going to be installing a MAP ECU 2 in a friend’s 1JZ-GTE Supra here soon, and I just recently sent scans of the 1996 SC400 engine wiring diagrams to MAP ECU and they put together information to wire it up. I still haven’t decided if I want to go with the MAP ECU 2 or the new ECU 3, from...

    1995/6 Era SC400 1UZ-FE - MAF Sensor

Hi all, I have been having a strange hesitation issue in my Supra with a 1UZ from a 95/6 SC400. I had just replaced the plugs, I had NGK Iridiums in it before. I just put BOSCH Plats in and the yesterday it seemed to have solved it, but today the hesitation has came back same as before...

OBD2 1uz into my manual supra help!

You have a PM, but here is the info for the Sub o2 sensors: My book tells me that each Sub o2 Sensor has four (4) wires but for the simulators you will need this information: "Signal Wire" Left Bank Sub o2 Sensor HTL2 = Connector IK2 (24 Pin White in color) Pin 22 (Brown-White in color)...

OBD2 1uz into my manual supra help!

If you dont want to make a new harness to wire them in you can make some simulators and keep everything in the dash. I can provide pinouts for the secondary o2 sensors but my book is for the 94 engine, but I dont think that had changed.

OBD2 1uz into my manual supra help!

In the engine bay, near where the battery should be check the 3 pin connector EB2 the connector is Black in color. Make sure the Orange-Black is getting 12volts when the ECU/EFI main relay turns on. Also check the dash connections, on the 14 pin connector IJ1 the connector is Gray in color, on...

    97 1uz into 87 supra wiring help?????

Ahh, missed the second part, there is a return line, on mine it was behind the driver’s side valve cover (side opposite the throttle body). It is just a metal pipe with a "flared" end that the rubber return line slides over with a hose clamp.

    97 1uz into 87 supra wiring help?????

Yea, I found a bad connection on my patch harness, the femail "pin" on the ECUs' power supply was slightly bent out of shape and was getting a poor connection. But I beleive the main reason we all make these harness is have a plug and play set up. For me, I wanted to impact the car/enigne in...

OBD2 1uz into my manual supra help!

When I did my swap I used a SC400 engine ECU/wiring from a late 95/96 car. The only thing I changed was the hydro pump, I picked up a fan assembly from a LS400, originnaly planned to use the mechanical fan but when the fan pushed air the wrong direction and also didnt clear the upper radiator...

    97 1uz into 87 supra wiring help?????

I have made a patch harnness as well, I used the EWD for a 1994 SC400 and the EWD for the 87 Supra to learn how the two harness should connect. I would suggest picking up at least the SC400 EWD, I found mine on ebay. When I started I assumed my 1UZ was a pre 95/6 changeover but turns out I...

Popping and a lot of Hesitation When Cold

I'm on the factory efi system, the engines' warm up cycle utilizes all the fuel injectors instead of a loan cold start injector. I purchased a new fuel pump for it, I'm going to install that when I get a chance and with a slight chance of luck it will solve the problem. Thanks for your reply.

Popping and a lot of Hesitation When Cold

Hi all, I'm having some trouble with my 1UZ and I have a idea on what it could be and asked around locally but wanted to get ideas from here as well. I have a 1995 Era SC400 1UZ-FE in my 1987 Supra. When I start it up cold the engine pops, and if I attempt to drive it, the engine breaks up...

95 Era SC400 - Fuel Pump ECU Ground Question

Hi all, I have a 95 1UZ in my Supra and yesterday the stock fuel pump went up, I currently had it set to run when the ign was on through the fuel pump control relay. I have a Fuel Pump ECU ready to install to avoid that set up of it running all the time, and I was wondering about the FPECUs'...

95 Era SC400 erattic idle, and sub o2 censor codes

Yea I understand, I wont post much at all unless I'm positive of what I'm saying. I think this was a good learning experience, I can now help others who run into the same problems. Mainly because I did find the problem, the idle speed controler valve was stuck wide open, and seems like it had...
