started with a x cab 2wd hilux. 270k on the clock. 3vz never been opened. thought of the 7mgte swap then read the 1uz and i was hooked. rear axle started spewing fluid, i bolted up a 01 explorer 8.8 rear. $250 usd done. lsd, disks, stronger. 1.5" wider. why not. picked 3 1uz up for $750 2...

installed a 01 explorer rear in my 2wd hilux . Disc brakes,lsd, 373 ratio anti sway bar. yay. made a adapter for the drive line to the ford flange. strong diff and cheaper than the toyotas. i might be selling these if anyone is looking to do thsi im going to write it up next. Ty:drillsergeant:

im trying to get some feedback and starting a machine shop. who would like to get flywheels. adapters to different trans im working on getting 1uz to many different trannys files. let me know and ill see what i can do. this is just the start of things for me. thanks.

been looking havent found the answer yet. does the 3vz flywheel fit in the 3sgte pressure plate and on the 3sgte flywheel. I havent seen a exact yes or no.

98 explorer rear end lsd disc brakes and 5 on 4.5 for 150bucks what you guys think. parts are cheap and i can put it in. so why not its cheaper than a toyota diff for my supra lsd.

i have a 7mgte maf and the 1uz looks identical the tube is larger for the 1uz. does anyone have the volume of the 1uz tube and maf. or has anyone used a 7m maf on a 1uz with a different tube.:smileeek:

does anyone have the correct thickness for a r150 90model adapter plate. im making one and dont want to take it in and out many times to make it the correct thickness. thanks i did see one wherethe end thickness was 9mm in another thread. is this close or too small. thanks again. Tyler
