    if a solenoid fails completely it should really register an error code, plus it will shift stupid and not shift in to a few gears. by your description of the problem its likely you need to inspect the valve body assembly

    just to check that everything is fine with the alternator and there is not something internally shorted - i would remove the IG wire from the connector, connect another piece of wire and give it 5 amps fused +12v directly, start the car up and see generator behavior, it is certainly possible...

    Have you confirmed that the IGT and IGF connections are correct? for example they are at correct pin numbers for both sides?

    check SENSE and IG power - specially the IG, it won't work without power at IG

    Check wiring from igniters to ECU, should be faily simple to do. Also keep in mind that the igniter bodies need a good solid ground, make sure they are fitted well and not insulated from ground If you've replaced the ECU and still have the same problem, its likely the wiring...
