I'll say 1UZ as thats what we'll be using, but in the future I plan to go wild with a VK56 from Nissan. Still all aluminum, 6 bolts mains, and 5.6 liters. Sleeve it out to 7 liters no problem and still keep a 1.67 rod ratio.

We didn't use velocity stacks with this manifold, but yes, the ports are all honed out.

Lex, if you check out importperformanceparts.net, you will find that they make custom metal head gaskets for anything. Also, does this mean that you can use nearly any size darton sleeve within reason and the coolant passages will work that go to the heads?

We havent done anything else to this manifold as we wont be using it. It just needs two TB plates put on the front.

the thicker the tubing that you go with the faster the exhaust gas velocities will be, which will yeild better spool up time, but also keep in mind the added weight of thicker tubing, in my opinion you should concentrate on getting a half inch thick flange for the header, then just use 16 ga tubing.
