Thanks Muzz. What fan(s) are you running on it? That's a good price on that radiator. I see that your thermostat will go to the drivers lower side and the other to the passenger top which is the reverse of mine. If the radiator is plumbed incorrectly will that cause overheating? Cheers Matt.

Hi Philip. The fuel level was getting low but I filled up and it didn't get any quieter. I currently have the stock diesel tank with an EFI pump mounted on the inner guard. Will the V6 petrol pump have enough flow rate for the V8? Cheers

Thanks for all the info guys. My truck seems similar, no vents or anything and it always sits on 87-90c no matter what I am doing except when I put it on the sand and then it gets real hot. I think I might flush the rad this weekend and check out the capacity of the radiator. Cheers Matt.

Thanks Guts. We weren't running that slow, I was in fourth gear in low range pulling low to medium revs. I will measure my rad on the weekend and post the specs here to compare with others. Cheers Matt.

My LN130 has a large aftermarket radiator with the two factory electric fans pushing through it. Normally the truck runs at about 87-90 degress depending on whats happening however over the weekend doing a big sand run the motor got to 110 and didn't want to cool down. I ran with the heater...

My air con compressor has been removed and I am looking to refit it so I can run onboard air for my tools and airlines etc for my 4x4. Does anyone know how the compressor mounts to the block, it's difficult to see the mount position and how it might work. I assume it mounts hard to the block...

Thanks Muzza. What model Hilux have you repowered? I don't have a W58 gearbox I have an R151 I believe so I don't know if a cable drive is available for the speedo. The cluster you got from a YN85 was it a carb'd or EFI'd model? Sorry for all the questions... Cheers Matt.

Thanks Muzza. So did you get a 4cyl carb'd dash cluster and are these cable fed from the gearbox for the speedo? Any specific model I should be checking for? I believe the LN130 has an electronic speedo so this would need to be changed. To correct the speedo with a cable fed unit are there...

I don't think I have ever seen an LN130 or equivilant carb'd petrol Hilux around. Over here in New Zealand they are all diesel or injected V6's. Has anyone used an injected dash and driven it directly from the Link? Cheers Matt.
