    Ive got the 4.1 LSD diff in my car, it certainly makes for quick shifts. I would prefer a 3.2 to be honest for top end... mind you I can pretty much stay in 4th down to 500rpm and it pulls around town.

    Jibbly... thats pretty harsh! A lot of 10 second 2.0 or less motors in NZ are out there not running any nitrous oxide or methanol. My mates 1800cc honda turbo (street driven), runs 10's. Just a big turbo and C16 gas I think. Lots out there...

    I am running the QM rally disks as well... I had a triple tilton in sintered but thought for the street it might be too much. That was a mistake. I will change to the tilton disks (as they are all interchangable with QM) next time I have the gearbox off. Or I could have the existing plates...

    If the det is audible sitting in your car doing a high speed run, its causing pretty decent damage I would expect. When you can hear it, its never little... (guessing you had head protection on as well?). 12's are a long way from 14's... I would have expected a higher trap speed given the power...

    Oil filter housing is stock. Clutch is a QM 7.25 twin plate, using a QM hydraulic release bearing... pain in the ass to set up, but we fluked it.

    Ok now I have had more time to look at this, and as pointed out... the oil level sender will be the location for the return :) Looks like it will be mint.
