so how hard are the 2/3uz,s to wire up? doesnt seem to be to many conv with these or even 1uz vvti, I here of peeps saying you need the ignition key with it to make it run, sounds like a headf##k ,just thinking after doin the 3rd 1uz and helping out wiring another 4, it mite be time to move up...

anyone got a 1uz just motor with ps pump an ac, no wiring needed, damn these are getting exy, 1400-1900 plus freight to perth 300-500, just want a motor for round 1200 would be nice

was 4cl petrol, it goes quite well. after seeing my hilux the owner decided it was a nice way to get an automatic and a bit more power, the transfer case has a jack shaft from the gearbox loke a suzuki so it was an easy adaption if not a bit tight

what pulley size are you using and how much boost is it creating, from what the planetsoarer pulley chart shows the m90 doesnt give much boost at all

crown royal doesnt hav one, it uses the tps signal

we couldnt seem to get anthing higher coz the auto kept kikn bak to 1st so I think it was so low because we couldnt use full throttle till past the kickdown point which might be peak power point, dunno, it goes hard on the road

very not impressed, 131hp at the wheels an running very lean, motor is stock with crown log headers an small exhaust (read fully legal) and a pod filter, so I will re dyno after I do exhaust and headers then again after the m90 when it arrives

or use a thunderbird m90 an plumb an fmic , they are setup allready to do this but the m90 sits upside down an the pulley ends up on the other side to the water outlet, someone on this board has done it like this on a ford courier using a richwood (or sim) manifold

I get 20-25mpg outa my 1uz taco 2wd an me mate with 4wd manual taco gets 25 all the time ,open road of course, aussie taco/hilux is a bit diff to US, ours have full box chassis and older style torsion bar frfont end, this is the best all round car Ive owned an the 1uz is THE best motor
