sounds like pinging/detonation, I have found mine needs to run 97 octain fuel or it pings a bit

I squidged the orig in, fits ok but leaves a gap, might make small plate to screw over gap

I had a mid sump on mine modified a bit but have since swapped it for a front sump which only needs a gentle massage with a hammer and fits sweet, mine is a 98 lux

I was thinking of fabn my manifold like that and wondered why it hadnt been done, I only want a bit more hp not balls out crazy, will wait an see how yours goes, prob use m90 coz its cheap
