It's probably just straight up difficult to build, err manufacture. In conjunction with it probably being difficult to justify it in whatever application. Just guesses...
Got mine. Nice. I am using W58+V6 clutch so I am assuming the excessively deep holes dont matter.
But damn, the bolts are literally a exact fit. Meaning they are tight as ****. Ganna knock them in and out to break them in a little.
THanks a lot Superrunner.
Nemesis.
Do you know the -4cyl- US Pickups/4Runners got a effectively weaker 3rd (basically thinner ring gear, maybe others as well) than the V6 models?
My point being, are you sure a US 4cyl diff wasnt compared to the Hilux's V6 equivalent diff?
Yeah I highly doubt we got any F coded ones. Seeing as how valuable MK I Supra axles are for swapping...
I am probably ganna stick a pickups F code axle under.
The early Celica's got T-series diffs right? If so I am pretty certain they are 6.7". I heard apparent RG engines 71-75's got a 7.5" but I dont know for certain.
Yeah Ed, thats exactly what I was remembering from my circuits class. last term.
They are very practical. Hopefully it is not just needed because of a fault in the system.
Yeah man. 4.10 is probably the single most common diff ration in Toyota pickups/Tacoma's in the US. Some Tacoma's apparently have 4.11 and then the aftermarket goes to pretty much any numeric ratio possible. Not quite...
Yeah I posted on CL but a mod was being bitch so I deleted the ad.
But yeah these are 98 LS400 calipers. Never got a chance to put them in my car [77 Celica] because I determined my daily driver (will be) that weighs about 2400 pounds and will necessitate a larger master cyl just was a...
Whos this phil guy and whats he cost for a flywheel? WHat clutch's?
I hate to leave Super hangin but damn I do need to get this thing now. Sold a some **** on ebay and ready to buy the clutch, redid the adapter. Ugh...
Jibby, just cause a car has good comp doesnt mean you use thinner oil. I see where your coming from, but dont say that. It leads to premature engine wear, if someone took what you said for truth.
Run the viscosity recommended.
Are you that convinced that always running conventional then switching causes problems? Not much justification...
I can possibly see it being similar to some refridgerants. Some have a smaller molecule and leak because of it. THat could be in fact that case that synth is a smaller molecule...
Try ebay in the states. I got my alternator with the engine (same guy) for 15 bucks. SC400 alternator 140A I recall. If you can get one for near that it may be worth shipping overseas.
