    IUZFE wiring

This diagram was used a while back. Thanks to Cobbler. I am GOING to use it very soon, and SEEMS to make sense. I will have to see. I read about another person who used and linked it to a question. You MAY have to account for no speed sensor and make the computer think it is in neutral...

    My 4x4 hilux (93 model)

Nice. Gettin a new cab? If so... same or different? A few weeks back my coworker, Suzie was wheelin with her husband and some friends. She said to him 'Leif, dont do anything crazy while I'm in this thing.' Within 10 minutes he rolled on his side lol. She was hanging from the harnesses very...

    1UZ Vs. 2UZ HP & TQ

You do know that HP is a function of a engines torque at a given rpm, right? What's the RPM, 5252 when HP and torque are ALWAYS the same? After, HP is greater than torque. Before, HP < torque. 2UZ's have a bottom-end tune because they are meant for work over street speed. If the peak...

    3URFE Engine Exposed

It is a completely different engine, converted. If the first two LETTERS of the engine code are different, UZ, GR, MZ, RZ, that pretty much means the engines are COMPLETELY different. Though there may be a common bolt pattern, it isnt common. I think VZ's and MZ's share the same bellhousing...

    Fully Variable Valve Actuation

Dude, read what I said. I stated it seemed to have more resistance (more surfaces...) and its like reinventing the wheel. I didnt question its ability to work. PS the Tesla-Edison argument is completely different. Edison didn't want A/C because he already denied Tesla and his A/C idea...

    Fully Variable Valve Actuation

Seems like there would be a lot of resistance based off the angles that the demonstration displays. Maybe more drag. Neat idea, but it kinda makes me thing of reinventing the wheel. It does the same thing in mechanical motions, just a different angle at it [deep]. Like buying the new lobe...

UZ manual conversion kit for test/sale - I need a volunteer

I am using a 3VZ-E clutch. This pins fit good, and have ample length out for the OEM pressure plate. I put some blue locktight on the pins just because. (sprayed the holes, threads, bolts and pins with brake fluid first) On the other bolt holes the shop machined, I couldnt say. You'd be best...

not a uz but... 1jz vvti manual ???

Cool, mines from a 95 SC400 so maybe I dont have to do anything either. But yeah I was just speculating on how they could be cheap. Like if they were a bitch to work with, not many people would want to use a modded one, for example, in the factory car or not. Here is some overseas Cressida...

    5 Axis CNC Milling

Thanks, that was a sweet vid. I cant help than to be curious what engine it was derived from, if that was the case.

not a uz but... 1jz vvti manual ???

You didn't have to trick the ECU? What car was it from (your engine)? And how cheap are those engines, I've never really seen one on ebay? I guess I'll look for the hell of it. Is it cause they are VVT-i and they're pretty difficult to work with electrically?

    Parts 98 LS400 calipers

I just read a little on Supra forums. Apparently they work on the NA Supra just like on SC400's. Need the LS400 rotors and calipers and make sure they clear the wheels. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=212365&highlight=ls400+calipers

not a uz but... 1jz vvti manual ???

How is the power output on one of those turbo VVT-i engines? I have seen hardly anything on them.

    Parts 98 LS400 calipers

I dont know for a fact, but seeing as how the SUpra TT calipers+rotors fit the SC400's and LS400 calipers+rotors fit them, they probably would. I know yours isnt a TT, I doubt they changed the spindle for that though. I am pretty sure Toyota essentially used the same spindle for all the cars...
