i just been playin with coil packs, do u need both in for it to run? i took top one out. nothin changed then took other one out and it wont run?? maybe a noob question but i am new to this. also, wat size socket do u need to get spark plugs out, i got the one that came with my socket set but...

i was told by mechainc he changed something at the back. thought he said coil pack. yer i may have a look at the spark plugs and have a look.

hey guys, i just had my AFM go on my 1uz so i brought one off ebay from the states. i put it on and now the car runs but seems to have every litttle power. I had a problem like this before, it was only running on 4 cylinders but i changed the coil pack i think it is. on front and back of motor...

yer everything seems good. yer it has been disconnected for abt a month now..lol will let it run again today to make sure everything is still good.

i dont no if this could be a reason or not, but my battery has been playin but and always needs charging up.

yer its connected. i just went and started it then and it wont idle at all. revs up then dies straight away

well i took my car for a drive today, first time in a while. was fine for first 15min then when i dropped down a gear to go around a car it started making some noises. when it was idleing it would not be steady it was almosty stalling. then when u acclerate it would go off slowly sounding like...

oh ok, u got any pics of this?? pretty much new to engine mods/ fixing up.

hey guys, i have a 1uz in a hilux running a pod and it idels all good but seems to run very rich, when its running all i can smell is petrol and gets alot worse when i rev it hard. here is a pick of my pod and where it is. any way to lean it out. running standard computer

well i got the factory temp gauge workin, but i want to keep a closer eye on it so was goin to install a temp gauge si i no the exact temp.
