Guess which new car did this dyno???

that's also the stock engine Gardner Douglass use for their cars. they have LS2's and LS7's now. very expensive in this part of the world. the debate about pushrods or not is not worth anything to me, if it works it works. the LS7 in Steve's Lola T70 makes 630rwhp through a G50 box, and...

Rotrex and Antonov are allready in buisness with suparchargers that are partially drivven by electric motors, no reason they can't make one fully electric. if rotrex where weak they wouldn't be on the koenisegg. grtz Thomas

Guess which new car did this dyno???

Site says World fastest motorhome, and shows a very ugly 6wheel thingy that tops out at 106mph, sorry to say but theres vast amounts of VWTDI based motorhomes over here in europe that would leave that thing sniffing dust within 2 seconds...... and ringtaxi's VW bus probably does close to...

Twin M45 charged 1uzfe project taking shape

And the Saga continues. after lots of time not working on the engine, I thought it would be wise to at least get SC #2 on the engine before the years gone, (pictures tommorow) there's a small problem I keep encountering at the moment, The BMW M45 chargers have a very odd connection tube to...

    Replacing Heads

Come on guys, since when is changing the engine, when valve clearance is out, the solution..... sounds the same as buying a new car when the tyres wear out, "since you won't have the tools to change the tyre" nahh if you're uncertain of valve adjustment David has a nice tutorial on this site...

Urgent help needed - timing belt replacement.

You can make up an "hold the crank pully steady while I give the lockbolt a big wallop with a hammer" Tool like I did, Just get hold of a piece of realy hard wood, like 3" by 1" or more and about a meter long, drill a hole in the middle of the wood the size of the socket that's needed to go...

    Replacing Heads

How sure are you on valve clearance on the newer heads? if not sure about than it's up to you, but checking valve clerance and adjusting if needed seems logical anyway.... regardless of which heads you keep. grtz Thomas

    need mid mount transaxle

Nah not a meter justin, the 1uz is 65.5cm long the distance inbetween the driveshaft centers and the bellflange is 18cm on a un1, so that should fit no problem, G50 is longer I know. and since you'll be better of making a new spaceframe like subframe for the rear to acoomodate the new...

    need mid mount transaxle

was thinking, Justin if you really have plans for making a middy out of a fwd/e car you should include yourself on the locostbuilders forum, the chassis and mid engine sections are very usefull, expecially in terms of suspension geometry and design of wisbones and shocks etc etc, most of the...
