yeah give the exhuast housing a heat with the oxy just be carefull you dont damage the exhuat wheel as they are ceramic in these turbos i had to do this with a VG30DET turbo i had on my old mazda

i remember seeing that car in a zoom mag a few years back. im with every one else here i wouldn't use a 1g for that much power get a 1jz if you want a 6 cyl or a 2jz if you got the cash otherwise use a 1uz weight would be pritty much the same

look at the swim suite that thorpe wears ? same thing when i use to be right into sailing we would wet rub the bottom of the boat with 400grit to have a smooth but still a little rough surface as soon as a bit of waster hit it it would be heaps more slippery than if you did it with 1000grit...

thanks guys I had a look at that site and they say the only come in sizes up to 2mm but the size lextreme has worked out for a ~8.7 is closer to 2.5 mm i have emailed them and asked for prices so i will let you know also the make custom rods so i asked about them but i can see them being cheap...
