    One Trillion Dollars

ok, disregard my last post. I didnt take into accout that a wrapper is never really compressed as tight as it should be to give true thickness... see that a US bill is said to be .0043" thick. that would be 232.55 bills to 1" close enought to 233... Damn, that is amazing.....

    One Trillion Dollars

That is amazing to say the least, but I think its off by quite a bit. I dont see it taking 233 bills to equal an inch. A $50 in in 1's wrapper is almost 1/2" so that would mean 100 bills would be almost 1"... John, are you sure that its not 133 bills to an inch instead of 233??

    ford edis system

John, something else that I just thought of. The EDIS system has no cam sync and thus has no way of knowing if a particular cylinder is at TDC compression or TDC exhaust again, something needed for sequencial operation. Now going back to the 2 seperate systems ran off the cam's might eliminate...

    ford edis system

John, do you think that you would have a true sequencial by running two EDIS 8's??? Im not that familiar with the exact way that the EDIS opperates, but from my understanding, the timing command signal (SAW) is send via the CAN network and the EDIS modual applies the timing to all channels. If...

    1UZ - W58 Adaptor plate Teaser Pic.

Jake, It it should bolt to any W or G series tranny, but the question is whether or not it will position the input shaft at the correct distance to the crank. Kinda like the whole problem with the R150/R151 and R154, same case, different input shaft length......

    1UZ - W58 Adaptor plate Teaser Pic.

Yes, that is what Jake's adapter is.... You will use the 1uz auto bellhousing and the adapter will bolt it to the W58 trans case... Yes, the adapter will bolt to a SC300 / A80 N/A Supra W58... The differance between the W58 in those cars and the A70 cars is the Tail housing and shaft. The main...

    1UZ - W58 Adaptor plate Teaser Pic.

No, they are different externally... Besides what jake said about the bellhousing, the tail shaft and tailshaft housing is totally different and the shifter is in a totally different spot (remote on the SC trans) Depending on what chassis your trying to use it for would dictate which trans you...

    spongy brakes, bad booster?

Yes, your oozing line could deffinitly be a problem... and that would be the first area i would fix before going any further... You might not even be sucking air back in, but even slights ooz like your describing will cause a loose of pressure.. The part that makes me even more think that that...

    Does Size Matter?

Im not fully understanding what exactly your asking or what your wanting to test...... the only easy way to tell what kind of differance is to either find out what the coil winding count is for each and or fire them in a real world situation. By this, I mean build a plexiglass chamber that can...

    spongy brakes, bad booster?

Forget the booster... Booster only prvides assist.. A bad booster would cause the pedal to be hard, not spongy... Mastercylinder size can have an effect on this. Too small and there will be excessive peddle travel but it will seem that it doesn't take as much peddle effort to stop the car. To...

    Does Size Matter?

The size can cause a change in spart output if it caused for a substantual change in coil winding... Primary to secondary coil winding ratio and the input voltage are what mainly dictate spark output... If size drastically changes this ratio, then it could have an effect.. a good example would...

What does the X pipe for?

Nice swap!!! An X pipe is to ballance the exhaust waves and pressure between the left and right banks of the engine. This aids in scavaging of the exhaust. If your running dual exhaust the full length, then you would benifit from having an X pipe. If you exhaust Y's into a single pipe, the...

    igniters and waste spark coils

Not trying to talk you out of your idea with the coils, but running Normal COP coils with an inductive type system in waste spark is not the best idea. These coils are designed to fire once per engine cycle and in waste spark, your firing them twice per cycle. Typically, Inductive type COP coils...

    TPS and Coil Resistance Specs

You dont think that you could have been running on only 4 cylinders do you???? Surprizingly, I had a car I was dealing with not to long ago that had a bad ignitor and was only running on 4 cylinders (obviously) and actually wasn't half bad in the way that it ran except that it was down...

At 7psi Lean on one side v8

Well that a little better, still could have a problem with bad O2's or even the gauges themselves... Even something as simple and commen as a small ground offset could be the issue... These are 0 to 1 volt sensors and a .2 volt ground offset is more then enough to cause a drasticly false reading...

    UZZ31 1UZ won't fire. What have I missed?

cuh8er just for the heck of it, try what i did with jumping the coolant temp leads with a resistor in place of the sensor. What your describing sounds almost identical to what the car that I was dealing with about a month ago as doing. It would fire over like you said "a couple RPM's and thats...

    UZZ31 1UZ won't fire. What have I missed?

Sideshow, I agree with you 100% but the test proved it for one plus a good friend of mine works for a lexus dealership here as a tech and he never heard of this either but he ask his head master tech at the dealership about it, and he instantly said yeah the whole problem is the 92 ecu needs the...

NO NO NO, they have to be wired to the sensors befor the cats, not after.. The O2'a after the cats are there to make sure that the cats are working. The AFR's after the cats are going to be totally different then whats comming out of the engine if the cats are working correctly.... The whole...

    UZZ31 1UZ won't fire. What have I missed?

Actually earlier engine with cold start injectors do initally fire off the cold start, sort of believe it or not... I just dealt with this about a month ago. It is temp dependent.... The situation was a 95 engine and harness but the ECU was a 92... The 95 SC's do not have a cold start injector...
