sounds great - just to confirm though - these are the cast ones, not tubular? I am looking for either the cast iron ones (not found on u.s. cars) - or if you have a set the psuedo-tri-y ones from a gs400. I can post pics of both for confirmation - if you want to compare with what you have.

if the valves don't float i don't see the issue with shim-over bucket. i imagine springs and rational lift cams are the answer to your question.

I'm looking for a set of the cast manifolds, there were some here a while ago but apparently no more. I'm curious to have a look at a set, so please let me know if you have any, I'll need them shipped to Massachusetts.

This is what I had in mind too, but it appears that they are no longer offering them with lash caps, instead suggesting their new valves - well that's the response I got when I tried to order them - maybe they were temporarily out of stock?
