Yeah - A 2j swap would be less painful from a fabricating perspective...but they are pretty expensive around me and then there is that V8 sound.....

They look better with the center caps on.

These are just becoming too common...:) I did a lot of research here and thought I should maybe post my project here as well. I am doing pretty much the exact same swap as Trollburger..well the same as far as which car/enging/trans combo etc. I am sure there will be slight differences...

Just got my car into my workshop this weekend. Getting ready to pull the stock motor/trans.

I was worried about this as well. I bought a copy of a .dxf file for the 1uz and z33 online. I burned a test piece on my CNC plasma table and it seems to fit ok.
