These days you can allmost fit any motor to any gear box, comes down to bellhousing kit and engine mounts. Keeping it jeep, some jeeps come out with a 4L v8 in them.

Hi there, its been a while but things have been on the move. Its looks like a truck again. The oil pan is a bit close to the diff but I dont think it`ll be too much if an issue.

Its taken me a while but Ive finshed all the painting that ill do. Im not keen on doing the outside of the body myself. so much work in masking and sanding. Its all looking good and now im on the mish of puting it back togeather.

what electrics did you change in the dash. did you change all the relays to 12v and heater fans etc.

I Have a way to fix your prob. Get your springs mounted on the top of the axle and point the diff up a bit to save the driveshaft. Then u`ll only have the diff hanging down to get stuck on. Thats one of my next big jobs.

Ive got a few pics to put on here. The gold block changes the angle of the oil filter and now will face forward. Then theres the engine mounts very nice, didnt do that myself. Also the gearbox mount . The supercharger just clears the bonnet. Ive still got to do something with the oil pan but...

the bit that sticks out would need a recon, I blew my box at the river and got filled with mud and water. You can have for the cost of postage and mabe a fang round the block if you came up to chch.
