Yes you should not have to run an extra earth wire. Just make sure you bolt it to nice chunk of metal on the body. (Not a 0.5mm plate) I always put a bit of copper compound on the bare metal before bolting it up. This prevents corrosion in future.

Hi! That could be ok but remember every splice or join is more resitance. Make sure the old cable and joints are good. Earth engine block and batt directly to body but once again use same size cable and make sure joints are good. Keep earth cables as short as you can. Hope this helps.

Doesnt matter if its VVTI, you still have to assemble it with the correct cam timing.

Hi guys. I’m opening this thread again. Does anyone have experience with a Mega Squirt on a VVTI motor? Does it support the VVTI? I’m not so much interested in the product as such, but assembling it myself and learning more about the electronics in the process.

Check if after market fuel regulator is suitable for FI and correctly fitted. Fuel pressure has to rise proportional with boost.

Any increase in power output will increase the stress on rods and pistons.
