Hi Cryser Your pipe design sounds good. However I think you are trying to split hairs with the Y-pipes. If you are building a full race car, and you want that last half a horsepower, then you can start looking in such detail. For your application I would say just use the ones that fit the best.

I've used JE pistons in many Porsche race engines without any problems. Of course, just like everything else, the engine has to be built right. I also had great success with Wiseco in other applications. They have been in business for a long time and make a quality product.

Hi there See the below link. It is a good description of the rods. In short; yes they can interchange but you have to re-balance the crank assembly. http://www.lextreme.com/rods.html Shouldn’t be too difficult, as long as you can get the electronics to work properly.
