I would use the ecu that came with the uz. It would only need a couple of wires to make it work in addition to the main engine harness.

The old tranny would work but would need a new bell housing and torque converter though. I am going to use the tranny that came with the 2UZ-FE.

99 4runner 2UZ-FE conversion with TRD Supercharger Started my conversion. Sold the old 3.4 liter v6 and now getting ready for the 4.7 liter up grade.

That is what I am doing now. I bought a rolled Sequoia and will be transplanting it into my 99 limited 4runner. Will Start it this week and see how it goes. How do you post pictures on this forum?
