Meat, What is this special tool that you use to retorque the crankshaft pulley? I am in need of this too so I dont end up sticking a screw driver to hold it while torquing to 181 ft/lb of pressure. The timing belt marks will not realign after turning the engine over just the pulley marks...

Certainly start with the battery. Weak voltage will not start the V8.

I was unaware that there are dot markers on the backside of the camshaft gear. Hopefully this is what I will use to realign the camshafts together properly.. the funny thing is that on the left side the gears were off by a notch or two. :ponder: Hopefully I reassemble it correctly.

It is real easy to convert the system yourself actually. I did this last year with one of my LS400s and it was a sintch. Pick up a conversion kit at your local parts store and refill it with new.
