    Lexus 1/4 mile times...

converter would flash or engine would bog. most likely converter would flash. 400rwhp is not enough to make your car wheelie :) what is the stall speed of your converter? my 3k stall is not enough in the buick, i'm gonna have them restall it to 3200 or 3400 i think

    Lexus 1/4 mile times...

can you spin a pair of slicks at launch? if not, weight transfer is not an issue. you first have to have the power to overcome the tires. you're talking about removing pieces at the track to get a better time yet you wont just buy a cheap set of welds and put some slicks on the back? i...

    Lexus 1/4 mile times...

you have to have enough power to roast a set of slicks off the line before you need to worry about weight transfer....

good idea or bad for us turbo guys???

this isnt toyota specific. methanol/alcohol injection is 100% safe. it is a seperate closed system. xylene/tolulene has been used for years as a DIY octane booster. propane is 110 octane and comes out of the nozzle @ -60dF lead itself is not a bad idea....... but it is when you try to use it...

good idea or bad for us turbo guys???

waste of money. you want something that works? propane injection or alcohol injection... both are cooling.. propane is 110 octane.. if you want something simple you pour in your tank, google xylene and toulene, which are avaliable at any chain paint store.... most mixes can net you around...

surrender? citing people on ls1 / ls2 saying "should" or "could" as sources when i was there for multiple dyno days seeing it happen infront of my eyes. :slaphappy believe what you want to believe though

    Low End Or High End

im not talking about people on ls1.com saying "it should be" i'm talking about one of my best friends dynoing these cars dude. its a little bit different.

check it out, drag celica, 1uz powered

...maybe because its not a gutless 4 cylinder with a turbo duct taped on and is actually somewhat respectable without boost to begin with? or i could be wrong :slaphappy

    Low End Or High End

going by what i saw dude, hundreds of LS1 dynos by the top LS1 shop in texas, and, at the time, the country. none of them dynoed 280hp or less unless they were having problems.

SC-400 over heating Im at My wits end

i have a 20+ year old car and i put a new rad in it a few years ago (larger, alum, free) and it was nearly spotless dude... no garbage or mud or anything. not really sure where you live where garbage flies up and clogs the radiator after somehow making it past two fans and an ac condenser......

    Low End Or High End

stock ls1... rated 300hp right? every single car i've seen dynoed made 300hp+ to the wheels. on average most made 310rwhp fwiw..

    nitrous on a 92 sc400?

sorry, but that doesnt make sense. a dry system plumbed into.. say.. the tb... can give adequate distribution to all cylinders... however a wet system plumbed the same way cannot? look.. the only way to get 100% even nitrous/fuel distro is to have a piggyback system where there is a nozzle...

    later 1uz lighter?

they looked like the std billet alum aftermarket fuel rails avaliable for any car on the market contrasting to my buick that has a tubular stainless fuel rail. 45lbs? is that a guess or have people weighed bare blocks before?

    later 1uz lighter?

is everyone sure the blocks are 100% the same? they coulda windowed this or that, shaved off a little unnecessary bulk here and there..

    Low End Or High End

other than the glide, there is nothing wrong with that viper. just because it is tubbed doesnt mean he cant bolt on a set of 18" HRE's all around with track rubber. and i'd bet that huge v10 doesnt weigh that much less than that bbc...
