    You could always rebuild the whole front end of the engine, totally new one-belt cog-drive to all moving parts and maby use an axle to extend the possibiltys of alternator placement, perhaps over the gearbox? Waterpump, servopump, ac etc is also possible to relocate this way, but these three...

    One doesn´t want to add to camload at the end of the cam.. that will result in cam twisting and timing problems on last cylinders.

    Well, an 1uz should be just fine then! There seems to be a lot of upgraded EVO:s and Imprezas in Australia, wich means plenty of nice 250-300hk unused turbochargers on various shelfs there that would be very nice on a twin-turbo 1uz!

    The 1UZ is N/a buying engine + turbo/supercharger system and conversion details sounds a little tight on a $5000 budget (not much room for errors) but given that you go Twin turbo and buy small turbos - There´s a LOT of them that only collecting dust on shelfs where the owner has replaced them...

    Yes, but who knows if the varios components of the engine is getting the correct oil flow when running higher RPM:s èven if the standard pump could keep up and hold the oil pressure at the normal level for a standard engine supposed to operate within normal conditions? I mean, it would be good...

    Seriously, that´s very creative but.... sort of blaspheme ;) Filter area is WAY TO SMALL and is quite a fine restrictor.. and the "bars" in front of the turbos intake will do the same by obstructing the inlet and also causing SERIOUS turbulence, effectivley reducing the effective inlet area...

    Prices are my concern, and are also ALWAYS negotiable. Compared to other 4-6 Litre Aluminium 48v V12 engines, the pricing on this particular engine seems quite resonable. Check out McLaren/BMW, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Cosworth, Lamborghini etc - prepare for CPR... ;)
