hmmm funny ive been useing there turbos for quite some time and yet to have a dud..... as long as you get new compressor cover and the vband ex housing you sould have no issues im my experiance with then( i only use these models turbo instalation is not something that sould be done by a novice...

doing the adapter plate this weekend and that shoul be the trassmisson engine side of the conversion done :D alternator is a issue im working on... almong with a dammpened pully v

pulled all the unessary bita off the front of the engine and have now got it down to 590 mm from the flywheel to furthest forward part ..bar the crankshaft nose that will sit under the chassis rail anyways the stock 4age is 530 mm long from front to back..including the crankpully but it is...

im not gunna go with n/a if i want a bit more power easier just to wack a t70 or somthing in there the stock manifolds almost come out perfestly over the gearbox and while on rwd cars that would be a pain in the arse that allows me to stick a turbo above my gearbox without to much hassel there...

oh and yes had a fan attached to it so no hydrolic drive as with the soarers ? if this is so is it any indication as to the power output or the year of manufacture of this motor ?? thanks again v

cool so do you think the bolts that hold it on..i assume its detachable would be suitable for fitting a front stablising mount to ??? what size are the bolts ??? thanks for this help it has been great so far would pictures of the removal of this stuff help for your referance at all forum wise...

i have yet to strip a 1uz down so internally wise i have no idea whats in there i belive there a 6 bolt mains and have been told they wil rev to 7000 rpm with no real hassel .. though they make no more power doing so 4k's ,3sgte's and 4ages are my forte with toyota engines this poject is...

the engineer will be here tomorrow wendsday to go though my process to be sure hes happy with it then its all go till he needs to come inspect again ive found previously if there involved from the word go they normally do a few tests and rubber stamp it as they feel they have a in depth...
