    The only thing I can think of that is a neg is at low speeds (10-20kph) the mod that makes the oil pressure higher makes the soft changes a bit jurkey. Not that I care, it's not that bad.

    Yes there is a cheap mod, Check out this post http://lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5655&page=2 Not sure which page it will be on but it's in that thread, just look for the pictures The mod will up all the oil pressure and make the box shift quicker.

    I've done the (in shed) shift kit mod, which cost me easy under $100 including new oil. And are happy with the results. (Search for this) It requires making or get some parts made and really just a cheap fix to a full shift kit which can be very expencive. It all depends on what your after...

    Engine build up

    I have a oil guage on mine with a remote mounted oil filter, has about 1m of flexable hose Idle pressure is about 75 - 80 psi (idle's high for first 3 min at start up) When the idle drops down to the 600rpm I get about 40. But reving the engine will push it up to 100psi very quickley.

    Oil Filter Adaptor???

    This is the standard oil filter location (red arrow below PS exhaust) This what I ended up doing. cuting the steal oil lines and silver brazing nipples on And this is where the other end of the original oil filter ended up. Hope this help's

    Yes that is an easy fix, there are a couple of different engine oil filter mounting plates different models of engines have different oil filter locations as an example the crown engine I have has a.... ahhh...... I'll find a picture it's hard to explain
