Where's a jet ski when you need one?

It took 3-4 day and 3 different shops to get the 850mm belt, They had to send it half way across the country, I can't think how hard it would be to get a 700mm one. It suck's because it fit so well with the tensioner, but ofcorse it sliped. still with the Alt mod it work's fine now.

Yes, in the end I used this belt And did this to the alternator. I'm still using the belt tensioner as well. So my setup is the red line in the post above

How did you do the engine mounts? Did you make them yourself? or get them made? I've heard story's about some UZ-FE engine's fitting straight in on original engine mounts.

What country do you live in?

What are you aiming this setup to fit? as in which model's of UZ-FE car's?

That suck's I bet your's is all bent underneath the panels, hard to tell from the picture. Is every thing still straight?

Yeah I drove one last Thursday, just a base model cab chassis. They have boost at idle and pull like nothing I have ever driven before. They drive almost like a petrol with power all through the rev range. Can't wait to see how much all the Performance shops get get out of this new engine...

If you want to raise the idle can't you just screw the stopper out on the TB to hold it open a little, just enuf to let a small amount of air past?. That would lift the idle. Sure it's not going through the ISC but that shouldn't matter

Grinded down a nut last night to fit snug inside the air feed line to the ISC, Internal size of 8.5mm but found the rev's only dropped about 200rpm, I then added a washer with a internal size of about 6mm. Now idle is dead on 1000rpm. It's so much better, it finally doesn't pull when cold at...

Yeah true.. Do you know what the total driving weight is for your car? That shape is growing on me but I hate heavy cars.
