Got my car back from the exhust shop and took for it's first drive, auto changed gears well up and down shifts and kickdown with only the pass through 4 pulse sensor wired into SP1 on engine and ect. Only a couple of things to finish off now one of which is the overdrive switch (OD2 black/red)...

I think I might be having similar problems. We have all must have been following the same wiring diagrams and trying to use sta as an output instead of an input. When I corrected that on my car it fired up much quicker (with the fuel pump relay bridged) but I'm still not getting any activity on...

So do you mean run the output from the speedo head (if I have one) to SS1 and the out put from the pass through sensor on the speedo drive to SS2.
