Nemesis, try 1st gear, low range, long up hill. In other words low speed, high revs, high load. I bet it will still get hot, even if not during winter with cold days it will in summer on 40 deg days. Althought it will not be as bad as with the lux rad.

a factory rear sump will be super close to the tail shaft and may need some trimming. CRS rear sump is $600.

I just reused the standard lines, tank, pickup etc. Run the VL pump as close to the tank as possible, have the fuel filter after the pump. I have had no problems to date with this setup.

I`m running a G52 behind a stock 1uz and its fine so far. I know this box is in good condition as I`ve had it since near new. I do comps and yes it gets driven hard, I have front n rear locks and run 36 swampers.

Nope not the one sideshow sells, just the davis craig one. I have wired an over ride switch in so if I know it is going to be getting given a hard time I just switch the fans on before it gets hot.

For those that might be interested I got 2nd at the pursuit and the rear mounted radiator works a treat. If I set the thermo controller at 85 the motor sits at approx 85 deg cel, if Iset the controller at 95 the motor sits at approx 95. Doesn`t matter if its working super hard or not it cools...

I think the Castlemain Rod Shop conversion kit is better. But that is only my opinion
