My gearbox loosing all foward motion got me wondering.. What other toyotas used the same box? I'm just thinking if I could find something locally it might be easier to use the good bits from the spare box to fix mine... Anybody?

About $440 including both uni's, all flanges, and slip-joint.. The adaptor was done by a local engineering company, and would normally cost about $150...

Well, i've put just under 1,000k's on it so-far.. no major problems......... Slight oil weep on the rear auto seal... ( on the output shaft).. so i'll have to pull the output shaft one last time. VERY small weeps around the rocker covers, but nothing tighting them up won't fix...

You can always use two correctors.....(Output of one, into another)
