Do not use Synapse Engineering's FMU. Mine had a diaphram failure and it started an engine fire. Stick with the vortech, cartech or blox fmu. Much better design.

problem with the 2uz is that its a drive by wire design. Best best is to find one at a junk yard used. Since the 3uz and late 1uz has the same intake manifold and TB, they will most likely be a direct swap. You can test the TB by feeding voltage to the DBW motor and see if it steps like it should.

what gloverman said ^^^ 10:1 is fine as long as its tuned to suit. If you drop CR on a stcok ECU you will lose a lot of low end. Since the v2 is high rpm dependant, your car will drive like a honda. nothing below 4 grand.
