your oil catch can drain is horrendously dangerous. dripping oil in front of your wheels? are you nuts? hook it up to the turbo oil drain immediately - especially if it rains 8 months of the year where you are.

you should PM CLG Peewee put me onto them - they bring in 1UZs to Perth a bit.

coldblue - you'll want to PM JustenGT8. he used a celica GT4 (the AWD model) and "disconnected" the FWD, ran RWD only and stuffed a 1UZ into it. i think that would be much easier than converting a FWD to RWD.

there's nothing wrong with imperial measurements - it's just that decimal measurements are more refined for more precise work. you can manufacture something a nanometer across, but try tooling a laser cutter for a quarter of one thousandth of an inch... most of the nuts and bolts on the...

i was thinking for an LPG setup it might be easier to leave the TB where it is and fit the mixer before the turbo. that way, the mixer relies on suction, and the turbo doesn;t need a carbon front seal. only downside is, you can't run a BOV (or intercooler) or you'll be venting LPG all over...
