    keep it ALL until you're finished - don't chuck ANYTHING away until it's fired up. radiator and elecs should all be fine, the alternators should have compatible plugs, but their positions may be different, so you may have to extend the loom.

    okay so they're replacement leads - non factory or someone has used other leads. your best bet in the VIN number, which you've done then. sorry i cant help anymore.

    pop the cam drive cover and the plug leads cover - there should be a year written on the plug leads in white, along with some other useless info. unless they're solid black (replacement leads), the year should be an accurate year-of-build.

    sounds like your oil has been emulsified. i doubt an itty-bitty turbo shaft could do such a thing - i'd be checking your oil pump for cracked impellers (i don't know what to call them...knobs?) causing low oil pressure causing your turbo to fail because it's whipped up your oil to Mr Whippy...
