    i just don't see why toyota would manufacture a whole new head for this engine - surely it would have to be close to a 1JZ or 1GG head. mirror casting would be a biatch though, but i guess no different to fitting the GA16DE heads to the 3.5L rover V8...

    do you NEED ps? or just want it? because if it's not ps now, and it's not rack and pinion - then you're in for a wonderful exercise in expense. check for recirc ball steering and if it is, then you either need to convert to R&P to get ps, or try and graft in some F100 steering box with fluid...

    i'm considering going the other way - 1UZFE heads on a 2UZFE block using 2UZFE gaskets. the 2UZ pistons are low comp anyway, aren't they? the relief in the piston crown is quite large...
