Odds are it's dead because of the terminals... I'd still change them, even if you're lucky enough to not be getting troubles from them now, it'll happen :P I just had that problem myself

That's your problem!!!! buy new posts they cost $2 each, if you can slide them off they aren't working properly! clean it all up and replace them and you'll be on your way!

Also check your battery posts, if they are loose or covered in corrosion this can happen too!

An SC is smaller than an LS, but my LS isn't great for racing people off the line, the car is better for rolling starts. the GLI has a turbo charged 2L with 200hp. your 1UZ generates more power, so you'd just have to give it a test, or see if anybody else has done it before.

So it's the biggest rookie mistake in the book. I throw the merc out into the snow and bring the LS in to have a look, I check all the fuses i can, check the battery and of course it's a battery terminal covered in corosion... $1.92 later the car is running again... I feel exceptionally stupid

I've just had an electric failure. I was driving everything was fine. I stopped to go into the bank and came back out, the battery seemed dead. I jumped it and it started fine. the dash was flickering on and off and the needles for the gagues didn't come on. I set the lights to night running and...

I didn't even get a chance to see it... but in an industry like this i can only imagine that there are a good portion of people who are dishonest; conversely i've had nothing but luck since i started working on my 1UZ... again flip side this is the first time i haven't gone for a new or at least...

I check the forum on my iPhone as it is, though if there were a mobile option i'd much rather that... cool idea depending on the amount of work it takes
