Well that's an easy fix, buy a light weight sports car, I'm thinking something like a lotus 7 or Westfield and do the transplant...... Drop a std Lexus engine in the 4x4 and sell it to fund the next project. I'm an ideas man.

The only failures I have ever seen on these (std) engines are rods and sleeves everything else seems to hold out.

How much fast do you want to spend? I would build it pretty much as if you were going to go FI but go around 10.5 or even 11:1 CR. Pistons rods head porting larger head studs cams itb's Add it up first, you can buy a coyote 5.0 now for $6,500 + $1,500 for ecu and pedal harness etc.

Do you have boost now with std ecu if so then a rising rate fpr might help. If you are going to run aftermarket ecu then don't waste your money. The std fuel pressure regulator works just fine. As soon as you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator you will start to chase your tune. I...
