New V12 Daily Driver (Ferrari 550 Maranello)

No not my garage unfortunately, a 65 Mustang cabrio is on the shopping wish list though. I have room in my shed for 4 cars without stacking, two more in the garage and two more under the carport. Plenty of room to start collecting when funds allow. Now where did I put the shotgun and...

New V12 Daily Driver (Ferrari 550 Maranello)

Love your work John, what you really need is a 2 hoists in the garage so you can start car stacking. That would give you room for 1 more car maybe a BMW V12 powered something or other. The Mrs gets her parking spot back and you have 3 awesome cars to pick from. Seems logical and fair to me.

    Iuzfe coupled to w56 manual

A fuse slotted in the NSW plug should be all you need to make it think it is neutral. Hook up the VSS on the W56 and your away.

    1uz-fe, are you happy?

Happy with my set up, std engine, ported Richwood manifold, 440cc supra injectors, Harrop TVS supercharger, Water meth injection, Adaptronic ecu. Engine basically free after I sold off the rest of the front cut parts and std ecu. Richwood manifold $1,000 Injectors $100 Supercharger $2,400...

    Standalone ECU Going Adaptronic thread!

Well done Khris, Try separating the wheel sensor circuits off the one board and wire them stand alone for each wheel. There is a start up procedure for the LC1 on it's first start up to let the LC1 get the heating calibrations for the sensor as well as a free air calibration. I would suggest...

    Standalone ECU Going Adaptronic thread!

just one wire at a time and double double check and I'm sure you will be fine. Don't forget to do a free air calibration on the Innovative wide band before using it, follow the instructions from innovative and wire up the calibration re set push button and led as well.

    One Bank Running Rough

a stuck valve will allow exhaust fumes to be sucked in to the plenum and cause un even firing. Do a comp test.

Just had a similar problem with a friends 1uz, one of the exhaust valves was stuck open.

    Standalone ECU Going Adaptronic thread!

Getting your head around Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control is part of the secret to understanding the Adaptronic software. PID controls are used in many control circuits and are probably used in other ecu's but you just can't see or adjust them, they would be just pre set behind the...

    Iscv valve on m112 sc

Surely the AEM can run an ISCV? I'm sure it would be able to run the Ford ISCV no problem with a PWM output The Ford throttle body has a built in ISCV too right? I used the std lexus ISCV and mounted it to a plate behind the supercharger and hooked it up with a -10 hose. works great.

    Iscv valve on m112 sc

Agree, LS throttle body is a good way to go and that is waht I would use if I were doing mine again.

    Project Thread Supercharged 1UZ celica

LS1 twin turbo it is then......... I went to the track last weekend and spent 90% of the time spinning the wheels, great fun doing power slides but unless you can get the power to the ground it's a waste of time and frustrating. I am going to order some better R spec tyres for next time.

Water meth injection & wide band o2 sensor?

Ok cancel this thread. I have just read through the Innovative manual (Phuugh who does that kind of thing?) and it looks like you need to free air calibrate these sensors every now and again. And if you give your car some curry it's more now than again. Done a free air calibration and guess...
