    Starter motor trouble Question?

The contacts that carry the current are worn slightly. You vibrated it just enough to give continuity. The time will come.

    Egr Blocker Question?

It depends on the model. The modulator is a mechanical device that operates the EGR valve. I guess not having one simply means the ECU has more direct controll. I don't have the factory repair manual or EWD to look at. I guess I will have to get one from ebay.

    Toyota thinks I am crazy

And now you have half the reason on why there is no new Supra. "Why would you want that?", pretty much sums it up.

    overheating gremlin

On the subject of radiators, those new aluminum ones do not cool better. The R value is better for transfer with copper/brass. Which is why it is used. Aluminum radiators are now used for weight reduction. You can make a bigger radiator with more radiation capability, without it weighing more...

    idle too low

There is not an adjustment of idle with a screw. You can move the stop, but the ECU will simply adjust to the increase or decreased airflow. Set the gap to specs.

Which is quicker off the line Twin or Single turbos

I think a single GT35R on a 1UZFE would just haul ass off the line.

Which is quicker off the line Twin or Single turbos

Packaging. Many cars may not have room to run the manifold or crossover pipe under hood to a turbo which takes up space. So tiny twins right on the manifold are used. Mercedes makes some heavy duty powerplants. Nothing in cars mind you. Tractors for hauling trailers. The V6 has a single...

Which is quicker off the line Twin or Single turbos

The old age some have of twins spooling quicker is completely backwards. I don't really know where it comes from either. You have half the heat trying to push each turbine. Apples to apples, if you add a second turbocharger to any setup, it will take longer to spool. You can not say, well...

    Egr Blocker Question?

(see attached .pdf) Read all of it, but that covers the basics. It has been a while since I dealt with any of this. But the text only mentions the ignition timing change.

    Oil Jets

Toyota uses oil squirters in all turbo Supras sold in the States since 87, but not world wide. They are common on any engine with high cylinder pressure such as turbo Diesel powerplants.

    Egr Blocker Question?

Ignition timing is advanced to restore some of the power loss. If you are using high enough octane fuel, you will not ping, but the mixture is not optimal when the flow command is given. edited for spelling and content

    Dragging Ass

How does the car run? Accerlation is off from where it was, or it just won't do a burn out? By the way, you can wear your tires down to the point that they spin without much noise and don't lay rubber. So nothing may be different. Or you are ruining your transmission and it is slipping.

    Pre-cat O2 sensor....is it really needed?

Yep, Toyota uses the front sensor to keep the cat warm, the back is to make sure the cat is working. They are the same logic on all US cars.
