    Sump to Crank Clearance???

I'm making a oil pan with about 10mm clearance from bottom to crank in the rear. In front there will be about 50mm. Is it too little clearance with 10mm in the rear?

speed sensor in supra r154 gearbox

I have made a speed sensor to fit with parts from a mr2 turbo mk3 speed sensor. The mr2 type is electrical, but the shaft is too long. So I shortened the shaft and used some parts from the supra sensor to get it together. It now fits, but I have not had the chance to try it yet.

Standalone ECU Wiring up Microtech ECU. No spark!

I have wired it like this: 1: Igt, input from ecu 2: Not used, Igf 3: + 12v 4: Not used, tach 5: Output to coil Think that should be correct. I get a rpm reading on the laptop when cranking, so I assume the wiring of the crank\cam sensors are correct.

Standalone ECU Wiring up Microtech ECU. No spark!

I have wired up a Microtech lt8s ecu to my 1uzfe. Everything looks to be working and wired correct, but there is no spark. Failed clutch

I have seen this happen before. Several times. There is no perfectly good explanation why this happens. But all the clutch discs I have seen with this have been very worn. I sell this clutch brand through my company, and have sold over 50 kits in 2005. I have never had this problem with any of...

    Copper Gaskets

Graphite is very soft to cut in. I just cut out the gasket with a sharp knife. I'm getting the material from a local machine workshop that works with laser and water cutting. The are specialized in making flanges. Found this after a quick google search on the subject...

Seller Feedback Terrible service from bellhousing manufacturers

I did talk with both companies over the phone. The biggest challenge when it comes to calling companies in Australia, is that they are open when I'm sleeping. hehe I have learn't that a phonecall is what it takes to make companies take you seriously in the U.S. They always answer the phone.

Ecu Upgrade, Which Way To Go ?

I will be using Microtech. Have used it alot before, and is satesfied with it's easy tuning and functions. Have tuned a car with Autronic sm4. I't did not take long time to see that it is better, but for many people it's "over the top." Autronic was alot harder to set up and tune, but it can...
