    BMW V12 Project

I just couldn't do it, I *had* to watch the video's again, its these two specifically that really make me lust for the V12: http://www.ultimav12.ca/videos/mvi_0164.avi http://www.ultimav12.ca/videos/mvi_0417.avi It sounds so damn nice! Did they pull any tricks to make the BMW V12 sound so...

    1UZ-FE Pros and Cons

Holy mother of god! (sorry if anyone is religiously offended). If I have ever seen a more convincing arguement for SBC/BBC's then the videos there are it! Check the dyno videos! ANGRY engines!! :hypnotized:

    Lexus Vs. Infiniti

This is definitely impressive, although that saying its 'only' 400bhp on normal pump petrol. From what I read here though the pre-98 1UZFE's should be able to do that as well on completely stock internals so its not that impressive. I just like the stock crank girdle :tongue2:

    BMW V12 Project

Ah-ha: http://www.boggbros.co.uk/gallery2.html Yeah it sounds like the oil and water galleries don't line up perfectly, and because the heads aren't mirrored you either end up with the cam gear the wrong side of the engine by turning the head around or you end up using exhaust ports as inlets...

    V12 from uzfe

Mainly just finding suitable bloody heads the will bolt straight on! :D The guy I saw was on the bimmerforums and goes by the name MWrench or maybe Ed I think. Once the head problem is cracked (not literally speaking!) I think the M70 will be like gold dust, but I doubt the problem will ever...

    V12 from uzfe

I think I have seen that chap you are talking about around on forums, I thought there was lots of discussion on it, making custom heads etc but no one ever managed to get round to it. Still even if he 'only' got 400bhp surely the heads flow a damn sight better than the standard M70/71 heads so...

    Supercharging AND Turbocharging

Are there any diagrames or can anyone draw a simple diagrame on how all the above setups are, with wastgates, BOV's, TC's, SC' and intercoolers all thrown in for good measure? I can visualise the flow of air, its all the extra bits I get confused on like the WG's and BOV's etc.

    1UZFE Vs. 2UZFE Redline

I know Maajola wasn't using stock rods, he was also using a different EMS, SM2 or SM4 I think or something like that.

    1UZ-FE Pros and Cons

I want to disagree but you are exactly right and in a way I guess I was saying the same thing, nice one! I think the only thing that needs to be pointed out is that we tend to build cars that are a damn sight lighter so if I am correct in saying we don't need as much torque to get things...

    1UZFE Vs. 2UZFE Redline

I was going to say, wasn't Maajola revving his 1UZFE at like 8000+ and there you have it, but no one seems to have taken notice? Isn't 8500rpm for a 1UZFE quite spectacular?

    1UZ-FE Pros and Cons

I'm going to have to go with Skid on this one and I think thats basically the UK perspective. Not wanting to sound rude but Americans have an obsession with displacement and basically just put all their belief in that well, bigger is better? I mean I currently drive a 1litre car (50-60ci?)...
