Tundra Header work on LS400 or SC400

I'm not sure about a LS400 specifically, but I do know the factory Tundra log manifold does have the same bolt pattern as a 92 LS400 1UZFE. I'm using the Tundra passenger side on my MkII Supra conversion.

    Is the FC signal necessary

Thanks! That should now finish my wiring. Now for the exhaust.

    Is the FC signal necessary

Project: 1992 LS400 1UZFE in a 1982 MA61 Supra. I plan to use the factory ECU for the time being. I have almost all the wiring complete. Is the FC signal at the ECU necesssary. The Supra send the same signal from the circuit opening relay to ground. Does anyone see a problem with that...

    1UZ fits in Supra!

Looks like you got alot more clearance for the exhaust than my MkII. Do you have enough space on the other side with the steering?

Anyone tried a V8 swap into MK4 Supra?

turboandrew Have you got around to your test fit yet. I know it hasn't been a full week yet, but just curious on how your project is coming. :)

Anyone tried a V8 swap into MK4 Supra?

A Crown ECU is so hard to get here in the states. It took me a few months just to find a set of MS123 Crown stub axles for my MkII Supra. That's why right now I'm planning to run the LS400 ECU with my 1UZ and just trick it into neutral.

Tricking the ECU with 5 Speed Tranny

Ok. So for me to connect my R154 to the1UZFE from a wiring standpoint all I would need to do is is source power for the NSW input at the ECU from a start power source...not ignition, right? And the not worry about shorting out any pins on the selector switch since since that wiring is cut...

Tricking the ECU with 5 Speed Tranny

OK. One more stupid question. If I understand what everyone is saying and the wiring diagrams for the LS400 and Kdog's Crown ECT pinout diagram corectly then all I have to do is: 12V ignition power to the NSW pinout on the ECU(14/22) This would simulate the car being in neutral right? Thanks...

Tricking the ECU with 5 Speed Tranny

Kdog Do you know what two wires these would be at the ECU end. My wiring harness had all the wires to the auto cut. 2, L, P, R, BK, KD, SLU, SLN, IG, etc. This is from a 92 LS400.Thanks alot for all the help and the many wiring problems you have solved on this board

HKS VPC to replace factory AMS/AFM

This was fairly common with the Mk III/IV Supras. Have heard that HKS has discontinued it. Try this for some reading, applies to MkIII turbo but has the same type Karmann Vortex AFM. Select Engine mods then Fuel. http://oldschool.supracentral.com/

So no luck at the tuner. Sorry to hear that. Did you ever figure out why it was firing to often? Your running the Delco unit, right? Is the ignition module getting "confused" and firing as if were a pair of V8's? I saw on your wiring diagram all the injector wires come together at d15/16...

MK1 LS400 HAS ANYONE REPLACED THE EMMISIONS RETURN PIPE

If the 94 is like the 92 LS400..... It has an EGR temp sensor that the computer uses to verify EGR operation. By blocking this off, you do get the benefits of no EGR but the ECU is now slightly confused. However you can use a resistor to correct the EGR temp being sent to the ECU. Look at...

Peewee, Glad to see you coming back. Saw on toymods. Hope you finish it when you get back. Good Luck and sorry to hear about the RnR schedule. (P.S. - The sooner your finished, the sooner I can harass you about the engine mounts :))
