    Another 1UZ Supra

Peewee mounts cebby, your right - Front sump / LS400 Nope, tight fit but sump sits right in front of crossmember Manual, R154 tranny with Castlemaine Rod shop bellhousing/flywheel setup and ACT clutch Side note, she is still running strong and with the help of a little N2O it has now run...

    NOS rookie questions

Not familiar with any Lex V8's doing this. But in general, they are compatable with a good tune. Alot of 2JZ's use a small shot to help spool their huge single turbo quicker and shut it off once a predetermined psi is reached from the turbo.

Tapping it to the TB is probably better long term since it is metal. I chose the hard plastic intake intake duct for ease, ability to try different locations, and cheaper if I screw up. If you keep it tapped in the plastic long term I would recommend some type of nozzle retaining nut to ensure...

    NOS rookie questions

I actually used a B&M Fuel pressure gauge kit . The banjo bolt is a direct fit to replace the fuel pressure pulse dampener. The bolt may fit elsewhere on the fuel rail, but I had not tried it yet. I just unscrewed the gauge from the bolt and screwed in a 1/8 to AN-4 fitting and connected the...

Thanks I drilled and tapped the hole, then threaded the nozzle in with some teflon tape. Then finished it with a small amount of silicone sealer around the nozzle. Works pretty good. Still runs a little rich, need to change my fuel jet. But I'll wait to do that until after I bump it up to a...

Here you go. Pic #1 is wet nozzle in intake tube right before throttle body Pic #2 is where I tapped off the fuel rail Pic #3 is nozzle, solenoids, and fuel pressure safety switch Not the best pics, but it gives you an idea of the setup. Will take more pics once I finish my rewiring. I...

    NOS rookie questions

I'm running a 125 wet setup now without any problems. The two best investments would be either a TPS or microthrottle switch on the throttle and a rpm window switch. Once you start spraying you will find all sorts of toys, safety equipment, and other accessories to enhance your nitrous setup...

    Tx2K6 Supra Nationals

I did see some SC300's out there and heard that one got on the dyno, but I can't confirm that since I missed that day. The vent originally catered to the MkIV Supra and the 2JZGTE motor, but grow beyond now. Peter Blach from Houston, TX is the event organizer. It is usually conducted about...

    Tx2K6 Supra Nationals

It was great! Fastest run of the day was the Titan Motorsport supra with a 7.94 @181 mph. Most consistant was probably the Boostlogic supra with 8.1's every single pass. Next year I plan to go for all of the events instead of just the drag racing.

    Tx2K6 Supra Nationals

Had a blast this weekend and the 1UZ ran perfectly with a small shot of nitrous. Took home 1st for the MkI-III Modified class. I think a few more MkIII supra owners are now interested in the 1UZ. http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/4180/timeslips4st.th.jpg...

Seller Feedback Harris Speed Works - Good

I picked up a dry to wet nitrous conversion kit for a great price. Customer service was excellent (Thanks Matt). They were willing to swap components of the kit (ie. lines, fittings, jets, FPSS, etc) to tailor it to my needs to include setting up the jets that I needed. Shipping was fast and...

whats the best piggyback cpu for my sc400

Another possible option might be a MAFTPro. Timing control isn't an option yet, but timing monitor is for the 7MGTE's and the software is in development for timing control. I will start testing my MAFTPro next month.

    150 hp shot of nos.

Nice run especially considering how heavy the ute is. 12's are not too far off. Good to hear the 1UZ takes well to the 150 shot. If you don't have one already, a LSD or locker may help with some wheelspin and like Anaema said wider stickier tires will make a world of difference. Are you...

Altering the MAF on a sc400 or Soarer?

I wouldn't say I am disappointed in the cams. I guess I just had higher hopes for them. Here were my initial results. http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3705 Please keep in mind that these were not designed specifcally for nitrous but I purchased them anticipating future...

Altering the MAF on a sc400 or Soarer?

I agree, but contray to what some believe, I think the intake cams may be more of the restriction than the exhaust. I did not gain as much as I had hoped from the kelford exhaust cams. One of these days I will take a couple days off from work so I can install the intake cams.

Altering the MAF on a sc400 or Soarer?

There are a few interceptor options on the market. From the simple SAFC to Perfect power, Split Second, or Greddy Emanage. One option that I am going to start testing is the MAFTPro. http://www.maftpro.com/ This would allow you the choice of an AFC, MAF Translator, or Speed Density. In...

    Hi eveyone, I'm new

Front cut is probably better but sometimes you can get lucky and find a motor with all accessories, wiring, ecu, etc. Just keep on the lookout and you will find what you want. Good luck! You'll love the torque compared to the old 5MGE.

    7m gte to ls 400 v8

Herre, this explains some of the differences between the variants of the motor http://www.lextreme.com/1uzfe_variants.html When you get the motor, try to get as many accessory items as possible. Both the obvious like PS pump, alt, ECU; and the little stuff like ignitor bracket, bolts, hoses...
