Those SSAC tundra headers are not that great. They are not much of a performance header.

AEM will no longer have the NA and a separate TT ems. The difference is in the way the tach is driven and thats adjustable via a jumper inside the ems box, the units are otherwise the same. Either one will work. Right now the AEM EMS is light years ahead of what haltech or autronic has to offer...

Usually that is the case, but since it's real tight around the frame rails and power steerting pump higher tolerance must be held in order for the headers to fit. This means that more time is put towards making a set making them more expensive to manufacture.

Considering that stainless material isn't cheap to begin with, a set of headers for twin turbo with slip collectors should be about $1000.

If you are willing to cut the bellhousing off the th400 and use a 7 bolt pump.. and posess a a340 v8 bellhousing i have just the thing for you!

Ask someone that has 2uz head gaskets and a 1uz motor. Lay the 2uz gaskets over the 1uz deck and have a looksee. I would imagine it would be real close.

A lot of wires out of the stock SC400 harness can be removed to use in a JZA80.

The coolant passages are in the same place (early and late 1uz). In fact, the head gasket block off full flow into the cylinder head.

You wont need a 6L motor for 600rw. A 4 liter will do, even a 3L on 93 octane can do it. Easiest way to get that is a C5 vette and a twin turbo kit from Supercar Tuning Center. 600wrhp and 600rwtq at 14psi. More tire shredding than anyone would ever need. But a vette will never be a supra!

Looks like a fine polish job! There is a oil seal rebuild kit that you could do on your pump. I've read on PlanetSoarer that some people experienced alternator failures when the PS pump would leak all over it.

The non vvt 1uz blocks do not have the extra oil passage (per bank) for the vvt actuation.
