It won't help much if the pump is still leaking, and I doubt the headlight is a symptom of anything other than someone putting in bulbs that run way too hot

I'd be checking to make sure your power steering pump isn't leaking all over the alternator

Strip the interior trim off and unscrew the switch from the back of the ignition barrel then use a flat blade screwdriver in the switch to start it. The steering lock will still be engaged, so don't feel tempted to go for a drive.

I think you'll find the Supra brakes you're talking about are the same as the TT Soarer brakes, which are indeed better than those on the V8

The main ECU, and by a leaky cap I'm talking about the electrolytic capacitors which can leak after prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures, with old age or poor manufacture. The liquid electrolyte leaking from the capacitor is very caustic and reacts with the metal (circuits) on the board...

A leaky cap in the ECU has been known to throw AFM faults too....

I know there's a difference in Soarers, but not sure on SC's sorry. Difference being number of bulbs (apart from the external cosmetics)

Timing belt and Cam belt are the same thing.

I'd replace the water pump, idlers and tensioners, both Cam belt and serpentine belt, would also consider the plugs, leads, rotors and caps if it fits in the budget or at the very least check them. Most of them aren't that expensive and it gives you a pretty solid start for service intervals...

They're the Factory Input for Video & Mono Sound for the EMV, but theres a good chance they won't work as most of the units are suffering from the classic Error 12 problem
