Thanks! The coilovers are Tanabe Sustec Pro-5's with Electric Active dampening (TEAS) which adjusts on the fly, and can be programmed for different conditions. The stretched tires will definitely have a slight traction problem... I'm ok w/that hehe. (I'm thinking about switching the front tires...
Been thinking for a long time that it'd be a good idea if someone were to design a way to use an aftermarket performance starter for the 1UZ-FE.
Has anyone seen such a modification done on a 1UZ before, and/or have any ideas or specifics relating to getting such a mod done? I think the first...
There's a black 50's(?) F-100 show truck with a 1UZ-FE swap floating around the internet... Can't find it at the moment, I'm sure someone has a link.* GL
Thanks guys!
Next week the seibon cf hood, and vertex hood lip will be going in to be molded together (painting the carbon mostly),
and the AC front will have the fog holes turned into one long air duct per side. (Deletion of that little bar in between.)
Hoping to have everything complete by the end of April so I can drive it into the paint booth!
Last pic shows new AutoCouture front, along with mocked up oil cooler in the side-duct.*
Negative, it just looks like it's complete, none of the wiring is hooked up yet!* lol I wish it ran. Seems like it'll never be complete! Ever get that feeling?
The title of this thread is biggest useable turbo.. The device I posted pics of earlier helps make BIG turbos useable at lower rpms... I think it's very relevant to helping a "bigger than typically useable" turbo "useable.."
[Less of an on/off switch...] They build top quality Supra Turbo...
Very hard to beat that, looks PERFECT..
Anyone else have different designs to post up?
[Front or rear bridges, aluminum/steel Thermostat housings.]
CAD files, sketches, pics, anything might be helpful to people in the future looking for ideas.
Yea I'm contemplating larger injectors, but I might have to make that "Stage 2." Damn, I'm coming up on my bandwidth limit on Photobucket, I didn't realize there even was a limit... oops.
These should get me in the 4-500's range... Will just have to see when tuning starts. Thanks guys...
