    Got it out of a LX470 and my stock t-case bolts right up. 2010 cruisers and LX's still use off-set rears. Strange I know.

    Tach signal from vvti 2uz

    I am wondering about the tach signal from this motor. I have it in my 91 landcruiser and I get nothing. The signal could be the same as any other vvti 1uz or 3uz. What have you guys to get this working?

    Ended up using a 2005 A750 5 speed auto tranny. Very nice transmission.

    Here is a video of the running cruiser. YouTube - Toyota V8 FJ80 Landcruiser Shorty headers with true dual 2 1/2" mandrel exhaust. Two cats which then lead to an X-pipe then to dual 44 series flowmaster. No tailpipe yet so it will mellow out a little.

    I think the viper input shaft is one of the shorter ones. You might need camaro T56 with a mustang bellhousing, then you just need an adapter. If someone can find out which combo works best, I can get an adapter made pretty quick.
